A workshop on “Comprehensive Lactation Management” was conducted by TISHHA Consultants LLP at Deepmala College of Nursing, Bareilly on November 6, 2025. The program aimed to enhance the knowledge and practical competencies of nursing students in breastfeeding support, lactation techniques, and maternal-infant nutrition.
The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Mrs. Kavita Sharma, Principal, Deepmala College of Nursing, along with Team TISHHA. Ms. Komila Sharma introduced the session, which was facilitated by Mr. Renjith Thayangeri and Ms. Tanisha Gupta from TISHHA Consultants LLP.
As part of the workshop, a Poster Presentation Competition was organized and evaluated by Mr. Renjith T.R. and faculty members. Shriddha was awarded first prize, while Sonam secured the second position for their creative and informative presentations.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Mrs. Kavita Sharma expressed appreciation to TISHHA, the facilitators, and the participants for making the workshop a success. She underscored the importance of lactation management education in improving maternal and child health outcomes and encouraged students to apply these insights in their professional practice.
