Qatari German Medical Devices (QGMD) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dawa Holdi Egypt and Dawa USA as part of its strategy to expand its regional and global footprint.
Through this partnership, QGMD aims to introduce its medical products to the Egyptian market to address key healthcare needs, establish local manufacturing operations in Egypt, and extend its reach across Africa through the marketing and distribution of its products.
The agreement also seeks to boost Qatari exports to European and American markets, the company stated in a regulatory filing with the Qatar Stock Exchange.
QGMD noted that this initiative aligns with its ongoing efforts to strengthen both operational and financial performance, enhance shareholder value, and reinforce its standing in the medical manufacturing sector regionally and internationally.
