Gut health startup Guttify is preparing to raise ₹20 crore in its next funding round as it looks to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly growing digestive and preventive wellness market. The company was last valued at around ₹54 crore and plans to use the fresh capital to expand its technology, diagnostics capabilities, product portfolio, and market reach.

The proposed fundraising comes amid rising consumer awareness around gut health, digestion, metabolic wellness, and the role of the microbiome in overall health. Industry experts note that gut health is increasingly becoming a mainstream healthcare and wellness category in India, moving beyond traditional supplements and probiotics.

Guttify has reported strong business growth, recording 67% quarter-on-quarter growth, approximately 20% month-on-month user growth, and a 40% repeat-user rate, indicating increasing consumer adoption of its offerings.

A key differentiator for the company is its Diagnosis-First approach, which encourages consumers to assess their gut health before selecting wellness interventions. Central to this model is Guttify’s ₹399 DIY Gut Scan Kit, which has been used by more than 30,000 consumers and serves as a gateway to personalized recommendations, expert guidance, and targeted gut-health solutions.

Rather than focusing solely on product sales, Guttify has built its platform around a complete consumer journey Diagnose, Understand, Personalise, Manage, and Maintain aimed at helping users better understand and improve their digestive health.

According to Mukul Shah, Co-founder of Guttify, the future of the gut-health industry lies in creating personalized ecosystems rather than simply offering supplements.

“Gut health is becoming one of the most important consumer health conversations globally, but the category in India is still at an early stage. We believe the next generation of companies will help consumers understand their gut health, personalise their wellness journey, and provide ongoing support,” Shah said.

The company plans to deploy the new funds toward product innovation, consumer education, enhanced diagnostics, and expanding distribution across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. Guttify also intends to broaden its offerings in areas such as constipation, bloating, digestion, liver health, metabolic wellness, and everyday gut care.

The upcoming fundraising follows a ₹4 crore follow-on round raised in February 2026 and an extended seed round of approximately $360,000 in May 2025. To date, Guttify has raised more than ₹10 crore, backed by investors including the family office associated with Unichem Laboratories, existing shareholders, and several Indian and international high-net-worth individuals.

As preventive healthcare gains momentum across the country, Guttify aims to position itself as a comprehensive gut-health platform that combines diagnostics, personalization, and science-backed wellness solutions. The company believes its diagnosis-led approach can help make digestive health management more accessible and effective for consumers across India.
