Bareilly: On17th Januray District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the District Women’s Hospital in Bareilly . During the inspection, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar closely examined the current state of the fire extinguishers and gathered information from the patients present at the hospital.

It is worth mentioning that a few months ago, a fire broke out in a medical college in Jhansi, leading to the loss of several children’s lives. After this incident, the district administration and the fire department conducted inspections at various hospitals and warned the hospital management to keep fire safety measures, such as fire extinguishers, in active condition according to the prescribed standards. Following this, hospitals in the district strengthened their fire safety systems, and notices were issued to those who did not take this matter seriously. As a result, nearly all hospitals met the required fire safety standards under the district administration’s directive.

This time, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the district hospital to assess if all the fire safety measures were properly in place. So far, no response has been received from the District Women’s Hospital regarding this inspection, suggesting that the hospital’s arrangements are in order. The District Magistrate closely examined the arrangements at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and directed that the oxygen cylinder be refilled regularly. During the inspection, CMO Dr. Vishram Singh, CMS Tribhuvan Prasad, and several senior doctors were present.
