Yatharth Hospitals takes over Agra’s Shantived Hospital in ₹260 crore deal

Yatharth Hospital and Trauma Care Services Ltd, one of North India’s leading super-speciality healthcare groups, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% stake in Shantived Institute of Medical Sciences (Shantived Hospital), Agra, for ₹260 crore in an all-cash transaction.
Established in February 2021, Shantived Hospital is a key multi-speciality facility catering to Agra and nearby regions. Spread over 1,65,000 sq. ft., it currently runs about 150 beds with the potential to scale up to 250 beds. The NABH-accredited hospital offers comprehensive super-speciality services and is empanelled with leading insurance providers and government health schemes.
With an occupancy of around 35%, Shantived reported revenues of nearly ₹50 crore in FY25. Yatharth Hospitals expects the facility to immediately add to its revenue and profitability, and plans to drive growth through higher occupancy and improved operational efficiencies.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Yatharth Tyagi, Director of Yatharth Hospitals, said,

By bringing the first corporate hospital to Agra the city of Taj we aim to bridge the gap in advanced super-speciality care. Thanks to its strategic location on the Delhi-Agra highway and Yamuna Expressway, this facility will also act as a referral hub for oncology and organ transplant patients across our NCR hospitals.”
