Bareilly | The White Coat Ceremony for the 2025–26 batch was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Gangasheel Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, at Kamua Kalan, Bisalpur, Bareilly. The event marked a proud milestone as new students donned their white coats symbolizing their entry into the esteemed world of medical service and Ayurvedic learning.
The ceremony was graced by the Vice-Chancellor of BDA, Dr. Manikandan A (I.A.S) as the Chief Guest. He addressed the gathering with inspiring words on dedication, ethics and the compassionate spirit essential to the medical profession. Chairman Dr.Naval Kishore Gupta and Co-Chairperson Dr. Shashi Bala Rathi, Executive Director Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, Administrative Directors Sanket Bali and Manish Vaishnav and Principal Dr. G. Vanaja Rani also presided over the event extending warm congratulations to the new batch and highlighting the significance of responsibility and empathy in healthcare.
The program was efficiently coordinated and anchored by Dr. Vineet and Dr. Monika ensuring that the event flowed smoothly and maintained its celebratory spirit. Alongside the ceremony, the college also organized a vibrant Sports Week, reflecting the holistic development promoted by the institution.
Students competed across four houses — Red (Vaghbhat) winner, Blue(Charak)2nd, Yellow (Sushrut)3rd and Green (Madhav) 4th— in a variety of events including cricket, volleyball, chess, carrom, relay race, badminton and more. After an exciting week of contests, the Red House proudly clinched the title of Overall Champion.
The event concluded with the symbolic donning of the white coats — a moment of pride, promise, and purpose — marking the beginning of an inspiring journey for the new batch of future Ayurvedic doctors at Gangasheel Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital.
