Artists from Bhawani Theaters

Adding a creative dimension to the event, performers from Bhawani Theatre staged a short play to illustrate the core principles of the POSH Act. The play was written and directed by Sadiq Husain, with lyrics and narration by Pappu Verma. The cast included Rahul (Nahid Beg), Reema (Atiba), Neha (Sony), and Sonam (Sonam Morya), while Shabab handled stage design and settings.

The session highlighted the significance of the POSH Act, 2013, which ensures protection for women against sexual harassment at workplaces and upholds their right to a safe, dignified environment. Participants were briefed on key legal obligations for employers including the formation of Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) for organizations with ten or more employees and Local Complaints Committees (LCCs) at the district level. The Act also mandates periodic awareness programs, proper display of policies, confidentiality during proceedings, and inclusion of case details in annual reports.

Through such initiatives, TISHHA Consultants LLP continues to champion gender equality, empower women, and promote a culture of respect and professionalism in workplaces across sectors.
