Sahyadri Hospital, Hadapsar has become the first hospital in Hadapsar to receive the prestigious INFUZE certification, a recognition of its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in infusion therapy.
The INFUZE certification, awarded by the Infusion Nursing Society – India (INS-India), is granted to healthcare institutions that meet strict global benchmarks for infusion care. The certification aims to standardize infusion therapy practices, improve clinical outcomes, and enhance patient safety. The process involves a detailed audit to ensure compliance with internationally recognized protocols.
The hospital’s success was driven by its dedicated Champions Team, led by Ms. Sonali Tambe, Chief of Nursing Services, and guided by Dr. Kapil Borawake, Director of the Intensive Care Unit, and Dr. Abhijit Shivankar, General Manager – Operations, Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospitals, Hadapsar. Their collaborative efforts and strong leadership were instrumental in achieving this milestone.
“We are delighted to receive the INFUZE certification, which reaffirms our commitment to exceptional patient care and adherence to best practices in infusion therapy,” said Dr. Abhijit Shivankar, General Manager – Operations. “This achievement is a result of our team’s hard work and dedication, and we are proud to be the first Sahyadri Hospital to attain this honour.”
This accomplishment reflects Sahyadri Hospital’s broader mission to innovate and lead in healthcare excellence across Pune and Maharashtra.
