Medical devices manufacturer Poly Medicure has appointed Indranil Mukherjee as its Chief Executive Officer for India and the Asia Pacific region, with effect from June 1, 2026.
Mukherjee brings extensive experience in the medical technology sector. He began his professional journey with German healthcare company B. Braun, where he led its India business and later took on the role of Regional Head Hospital Care at the company’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Malaysia.
Prior to joining Poly Medicure, he served as Group CEO of Translumina Therapeutics, a global cardiovascular devices company operating in both India and Germany.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the new role, Mukherjee said that Poly Medicure is well-positioned to leverage emerging growth opportunities across key markets. He added that he looks forward to collaborating with the leadership team to further strengthen the company’s presence in India and the Asia Pacific region.
Welcoming the appointment, Himanshu Baid, Managing Director of Poly Medicure, said that as the company expands its global reach through strategic investments and acquisitions, strong leadership will be critical in driving the next phase of growth. He noted that Mukherjee’s deep industry knowledge, international exposure, and proven leadership capabilities make him well-suited for the role.
