Airport authorities have designated seven hospitals within a 50 km radius to handle emergencies, including large-scale incidents like aircraft disasters. This decision was finalized during a joint meeting between the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and airport officials to ensure rapid and effective emergency response.
The selected hospitals include both private and government institutions: Kailash Hospital, NIIMS Greater Noida, Fortis Hospital, Yatharth Hospital, Mahanandan Hospital, Sharda Hospital, along with two Community Health Centres located in Jewar and Dankaur. Each facility will undergo specialized training conducted by the Airports Authority of India to enhance emergency response capabilities.
Notably, Yatharth Hospital has been designated to specifically cater to airport staff, equipped with dedicated ambulance and emergency services. This strategic network of trained hospitals forms a crucial component of the region’s aviation safety infrastructure, ensuring that the Noida International Airport is well-prepared for any potential medical crisis as it approaches operational readiness.
