MOVIN Express Pvt Ltd has announced its entry into India’s rapidly expanding healthcare logistics market valued between USD 5.5 billion and USD 7.5 billion by introducing a dedicated vertical called MOVIN Healthcare. The company, a joint venture between InterGlobe Enterprises and UPS, will initially offer services across 50 cities.

Gregory Goba-Ble, Director of MOVIN Express and Head of UPS India, told PTI that the new vertical is designed to meet rising customer demand for fast, reliable, temperature-controlled, door-to-door deliveries. He said the company will provide specialised packaging options to ensure precise, time-bound delivery of sensitive medical shipments.

Beyond the growing market opportunity, Goba-Ble noted that the move is driven by customer needs. “There are specific requirements in healthcare logistics, and we aim to meet them,” he said. The service will cater to B2B customers not just in metros but also in tier II and critical tier III locations, with plans for wider expansion ahead.

Under MOVIN Healthcare, the company will provide end-to-end specialised temperature-controlled solutions, including packaging that can maintain refrigerated (2–8°C), ambient (15–25°C), and frozen (-80 to -20°C) conditions essential for pharmaceuticals, vaccines, MedTech equipment, diagnostics, and clinical trial materials.

Goba-Ble highlighted the government’s push to strengthen India’s logistics ecosystem, adding that the company aims to contribute its global expertise to this effort.

The new vertical will also offer priority handling for all healthcare shipments, carrier insurance, and real-time monitoring supported by a 24/7 control tower for secure movement of sensitive consignments.
