Pune-based Motherhood Hospitals, Kharadi, has launched Pune’s state-of-the-art foetal department. The initiative promises to address a range of pregnancy realted complications.
The new Fetal Medicine Department at Motherhood Hospital provides comprehensive imaging and diagnostics such as early anomaly scans, foetal echocardiography and 3D/4D imaging. Genetic counseling and testing are available to detect chromosomal abnormalities and rare genetic conditions early. The department also specializes in interventional and rare genetic conditions early. The department also specializes in interventional foetal therapies, including foetal reduction, intrauterine blood transfusions, and fetoscopic surgeries.
