Global Health Limited, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, has acquired a 10,560-square-metre land parcel in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, for approximately ₹165.82 crore.
The company plans to develop a 350-plus-bed multi-speciality hospital on the site, subject to customary statutory approvals and approval from its Board of Directors.
The proposed facility is expected to expand Global Health’s presence in the Delhi-NCR region and serve patients from Ghaziabad and surrounding areas, including eastern Delhi, Meerut, Saharanpur, Hapur, Bulandshahr and other parts of western Uttar Pradesh.
Global Health Group CEO and Director Pankaj Sahni said Ghaziabad represents a long-term healthcare opportunity within the wider Delhi-NCR market, citing the region’s urban and economic growth and rising demand for specialised healthcare services.
As of June 30, 2026, Global Health operated six hospitals across Gurgaon, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, Patna and Noida, with a total installed capacity of 3,737 beds.
The company is also developing five upcoming hospitals in Mumbai, Pitampura and South Delhi, Guwahati and Varanasi.
