Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket has inaugurated a newly constructed 400-bed tower aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and setting higher benchmarks in advanced medical care across Delhi-NCR.
The facility brings together cutting-edge medical technologies, smart digital systems, and globally aligned treatment standards. This expansion strengthens the hospital’s capability to provide high-quality, patient-focused care while reinforcing its appeal among both domestic and international patients.
The addition is expected to significantly boost the hospital’s capacity to cater to the growing healthcare demand in the region. It also supports India’s expanding medical value travel segment, aligning with the government’s ‘Heal in India’ initiative.
Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, part of the Max Healthcare network, continues to focus on building Centres of Excellence and plans to expand its overall bed capacity to 10,000 in the coming four years to address rising patient inflow and high occupancy rates.
Speaking on the development, Chairman and Managing Director Abhay Soi said the new state-of-the-art facility would help position Delhi-NCR as a global hub for medical value travel, in line with the government’s vision to promote India as a preferred destination for medical tourism.
With this expansion, the total bed capacity at the Saket hospital complex will exceed 1,160 beds, offering treatment across more than 35 specialties. The new tower includes over 120 critical care beds, 10 modular operation theatres, and advanced cath labs to support complex and high-acuity treatments in areas such as cardiac sciences, oncology, renal sciences, neurosciences, gastroenterology, paediatrics, robotic surgery, and organ transplants.
Further enhancing its capabilities, the hospital is equipped with advanced robotic technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery system, enabling greater precision, minimally invasive procedures, and improved clinical outcomes.
