Max Healthcare announced on November 3 that it has partnered with the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS) to create a collaborative platform aimed at driving research, training, and knowledge exchange in genetics and healthcare.
According to the healthcare provider, the partnership will enable joint conferences, workshops, and training programs, fostering the exchange of expertise among scientists, clinicians, and researchers from both institutions.

This collaboration will strengthen our research and innovation capabilities, ultimately benefiting our patients and contributing to India’s healthcare ecosystem,” said Dr. Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director at Max Healthcare.
Dr. Rakesh Mishra, Director of TIGS, added that the partnership offers an excellent opportunity to apply their genomic expertise to practical clinical challenges, further advancing the field of precision medicine in India.
