Manipal Hospitals has secured a 3.5-acre land parcel in Gurugram through a long-term lease agreement with TIL Investments Pvt Ltd, an Indian subsidiary of Thakral Corporation, to develop a new multi-speciality hospital.
The agreement provides for an initial lease period of approximately 30 years, with the first phase of the proposed facility expected to accommodate up to 500 beds.
The upcoming hospital is expected to expand Manipal Hospitals’ footprint in the Delhi-NCR region, which the healthcare group considers a key growth market. The project will also be developed as part of an integrated health and wellness ecosystem, with the flagship hospital supported by hospitality and retail facilities.
The development is aimed at addressing the growing demand for healthcare and wellness services in the region while establishing a larger healthcare destination in Gurugram.
Dilip Jose, CEO of Manipal Hospitals, said the project would strengthen the group’s presence in Delhi-NCR and enable it to extend its clinical expertise and patient-centric care model to the growing population of Gurugram.
