In a major step towards international collaboration, Kolhapur Cancer Centre (KCC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the renowned Cancer Centers of America (CCA). This marks a key milestone for KCC as it expands its footprint onto the global stage.
The MoU was officially signed at the Kolhapur Cancer Centre by Dr. Suraj Pawar, Chairman and Managing Director of KCC, and Rajesh Manthena, Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of CCA. The partnership follows a comprehensive review of KCC’s two-decade-long commitment to cutting-edge technology, high-quality treatment, and excellent patient outcomes.
KCC, which has treated over 50,000 patients from Western Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa, has earned a strong reputation for its holistic and advanced cancer care. Impressed by its achievements, Cancer Centers of America agreed to partner with KCC to enhance access to world-class oncology services.
Through this collaboration, patients across India and abroad will gain access to the latest in cancer treatment technologies and globally aligned clinical practices. It will also help position KCC as a destination for international patients seeking affordable, quality cancer care.
Dr. Shalini Shah, Chairperson of the Board at CCA, joined the event virtually and conveyed her congratulations. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Reshma Pawar (Executive Director), Smita Raju, Dr. Yogesh Anap, Dr. Parag Watve, Dayakar P, and the entire medical and administrative team at KCC.
