The Jindal Foundation has inaugurated a 25-bed Aarogyam Community Hospital marking another step in its efforts to improve access to affordable and quality healthcare for underserved communities. The hospital has been established as part of the Foundation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and is aimed at providing comprehensive primary and secondary healthcare services to people living in nearby rural and semi-urban areas.
The newly launched facility is equipped with 25 inpatient beds, outpatient consultation services, emergency care, basic diagnostic facilities, pharmacy services, maternal and child healthcare and preventive health programmes. The hospital is expected to reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for routine medical treatment while ensuring timely access to essential healthcare services.
According to the Foundation, the Aarogyam Community Hospital has been designed to deliver affordable, patient-centric care while strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region. The initiative aligns with Jindal Foundation’s broader commitment to community development which includes interventions in healthcare, education, nutrition, skill development and rural upliftment.
The hospital will be staffed by qualified doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals and is expected to conduct regular health camps, disease screening programmes, immunisation drives and awareness campaigns to promote preventive healthcare. Special emphasis will be placed on maternal and child health, management of chronic diseases and early diagnosis of common illnesses.
With the launch of the Aarogyam Community Hospital, the Jindal Foundation aims to strengthen healthcare accessibility for underserved populations and contribute to improved health outcomes through sustainable community-based healthcare services.
