India has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Afghanistan’s healthcare sector by donating a range of medical equipment to Afghan health authorities. The assistance includes devices for diagnosis, treatment, neonatal and pediatric care, along with specialized surgical and critical care equipment.
Sharing the update on X, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India has supplied neonatal and pediatric care devices, cardiograph machines, ventilators, patient monitors, maxillofacial electrocautery equipment, plastic surgery instrument sets, and other specialized medical kits to support healthcare services in Afghanistan.
The announcement comes as India continues to emphasize its long-standing humanitarian engagement with Afghanistan.
