The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly, has launched an online appointment system through its official website www.imabareilly.com. Patients can now book appointments directly with doctors listed on the site, which also provides their contact numbers. The platform will additionally support online fee submission, IMA officials announced.

Outgoing IMA President Dr. R.K. Singh, on his last day in office, said that doctors’ names would appear on the website only after their approval. He also revealed that a modern blood bank is being set up in Izzatnagar, equipped with advanced technology, along with facilities such as a cafeteria, toilets, and a net testing machine. During his tenure, he added, efforts were made to settle Ayushman Bharat dues.

Further, Dr. Shalini Maheshwari announced that the association will operate a free OPD for women once a week, with advance notice published in newspapers. She also disclosed that a proposal to establish a 300-bed facility under IMA management has been submitted to the state government for Chief Minister’s consideration.
