Health Minister JP Nadda Stable After Coronary Angiography, Under Observation at AIIMS

Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, after experiencing uneasiness on August 13. Doctors conducted a series of medical evaluations, including a coronary angiography, and confirmed that his condition is stable.

According to an official statement issued by AIIMS, Nadda underwent diagnostic tests on the evening of August 13, 2026, and is currently being monitored in the Department of Cardiology as a precautionary measure.

“Union Health Minister JP Nadda was evaluated for uneasiness with tests, including a coronary angiography on the evening of August 13, 2026. He is currently stable and admitted for observation in the Department of Cardiology, AIIMS,” the hospital stated.

Sources indicated that the angiography was performed to assess the condition of the coronary arteries and rule out any significant cardiac concerns. Medical experts at AIIMS are closely monitoring his health, and no immediate complications have been reported.

Nadda, who has previously served as Union Health Minister and currently heads the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, remains under medical supervision. His hospitalization has prompted inquiries from political leaders and well-wishers across the country regarding his health status.

Hospital authorities have assured that his condition remains stable and that further decisions regarding discharge will be based on medical observation and recovery progress.
