HDFC Bank, under its flagship CSR programme Parivartan, has joined hands with Doctors For You to enhance critical care infrastructure by establishing advanced 10-bed Intensive Care Units (ICUs) in 11 government district headquarters hospitals across Tamil Nadu.
The newly developed ICU facilities were inaugurated at an event organised by the National Health Mission (NHM) in Chennai. The initiative is aimed at improving access to quality intensive care services, strengthening emergency response capabilities, and enhancing patient outcomes in public healthcare institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Nusrat Pathan, Head – CSR, HDFC Bank, said that improving access to quality healthcare remains central to building healthier and more resilient communities. She added that the partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting the public healthcare system through meaningful CSR interventions.
The project is expected to significantly boost critical care capacity in government hospitals, benefiting thousands of patients who rely on public healthcare services across the state.
