Fortis Healthcare has secured long-term operational rights for a 200-bed multi-speciality hospital in Greater Noida through a 15-year lease agreement with R.R. Lifesciences Pvt Ltd. The agreement, executed via Fortis’ wholly owned subsidiary, International Hospital Limited (IHL), includes a sub-lease with R.R. Lifesciences and an upcoming tripartite agreement with the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA).
According to a stock exchange filing, IHL will pay R.R. Lifesciences ₹2.4 crore per month, plus applicable GST, for access to the hospital’s land, building, and equipment. The lease is approved by UPSIDA and may be renewed further.
Previously managed under an Operations and Management (O&M) contract, the facility will now continue to operate as Fortis Hospital Greater Noida, with Fortis assuming full operational and financial control. The hospital has the capacity to add 50 more beds within its current infrastructure.
Commenting on the development, Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, MD and CEO of Fortis Healthcare, said, “Greater Noida is rapidly becoming a healthcare hub, driven by urban growth, industrialization, and rising demand. This expansion reinforces Fortis’ leadership in the region.” He added that the company remains committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and patient-focused care while exploring future growth opportunities.
