Even Hospital, Race Course Road, Bengaluru, has achieved NABH accreditation under the 6th Edition standards within its first year of operations. The milestone places the hospital among a select group of healthcare facilities in Bengaluru to receive the latest NABH accreditation, reflecting its focus on patient safety, clinical outcomes and technology-driven healthcare delivery.

Accreditation Focuses on Quality and Outcomes

The NABH 6th Edition standards place increased emphasis on measurable clinical outcomes, patient safety, clinical governance, digital health and continuous quality improvement. Even Hospital underwent assessment across more than 570 parameters covering areas such as infection prevention, medication management, patient safety and clinical quality.

Technology-Enabled Clinical Governance

The hospital uses an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system along with an AI-powered clinical governance platform to monitor patient journeys in real time. Its managed care model also follows patients after discharge and tracks outcomes through Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).

Outcomes Reported in First Year

During its first year, Even Hospital reported 1,37,796 specialist consultations and 1,255 discharges. More than 40,000 members were also supported through its post-discharge care programme.

The hospital reported a 40% reduction in average hospital stay, less than 1% unplanned readmissions and zero post-operative infections across tracked surgical cohorts. Its early-intervention approach also helped avoid more than 200 hospitalisations.

Plans to Expand Across Bengaluru

Even Hospitals is planning to establish four to five additional hospitals across Bengaluru over the next 12 months. The organisation said the NABH 6th Edition framework will guide clinical and operational processes across its upcoming facilities.

According to Animesh Roy, CEO, Even Hospitals, the accreditation reinforces the organisation’s focus on measurable quality, technology-enabled clinical decision-making and better patient outcomes.
