Dr. Ratan Gupta has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda.
A seasoned professional with extensive experience in medical education, research, and hospital administration, Dr. Gupta has previously held leadership positions at several top medical institutions in the country. He is widely respected for his contributions toward strengthening healthcare delivery, advancing academic standards, and promoting patient-centric care.
Outlining his vision for AIIMS Bathinda, Dr. Gupta emphasized a focus on expanding super-speciality services, boosting research activities, and strengthening community outreach to better serve Punjab and adjoining states.
On assuming his new role, Dr. Gupta remarked, “It is a privilege to lead AIIMS Bathinda. I look forward to working closely with faculty, staff, and students to build this institute into a hub of excellence in healthcare and medical education.”
