Dr. Lal PathLabs has strengthened its international footprint by acquiring an 80% controlling stake in Sunshine Healthcare Limited (SHL), Ghana, marking a significant expansion into the West African diagnostics market.
The acquisition was completed through Dr. Lal PathLabs FZCO, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary based in Dubai. Following the transaction, Sunshine Healthcare has become a step-down subsidiary of Dr. Lal PathLabs.
The deal was completed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements in Ghana. The acquisition is expected to provide Dr. Lal PathLabs with a platform to expand its diagnostic operations and build a stronger presence in the African healthcare market.
