In a significant step towards bridging the gap between academic learning and industry exposure, Digitech Innovations, (a unit of TISHHA Consultants LLP), organised an advanced hands-on workshop on AIR Gesture Programming along with an internship drive at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, on April 24, 2026.
The workshop, designed for B.Tech and MCA students, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 students. It was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Nitendra Mohan, Head of Department and Project Manager at Digitech Innovations, with active support from MJPRU faculty including HOD Mr. Vinay Rishiwal, Dr. Anil Bisht, Assistant Professor and Placement Cell Head, CS/IT Department.
The session commenced with a formal welcome, followed by a company overview presented by Ms. Komila Sharma Dhingra, HR Manager at TISHHA Consultants LLP. Setting the tone for the technical segment, Mr. Nitendra Mohan delivered an insightful presentation on Advanced AI-based AIR Gesture Technology, highlighting its growing applications in modern industries such as automation, smart devices, and human-computer interaction.
Adding a practical dimension to the workshop, Digitech team members Mr. Utkarsh Varshney and Mr. Saurabh Singh engaged directly with students through interactive demonstrations and discussions. Their hands-on approach enabled participants to gain real-time exposure to gesture-based programming, making the learning experience both engaging and application-oriented.
The workshop also opened avenues for career-related discussions, with students actively raising queries regarding internship opportunities, HR rounds, placement processes, and expectations in leading companies. The interactive session helped clarify key aspects of industry recruitment and preparedness.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vinay Rishiwal and Dr. Anil Bisht appreciated the initiative, describing it as a valuable platform for students to gain accurate industry insights and technical clarity. They emphasised that such workshops play a crucial role in addressing the gap often left by conventional academic frameworks, where practical exposure to real-world technologies remains limited.
They further noted that many institutions claim to provide industrial experience but fall short in delivering hands-on knowledge, leaving students uncertain about industry expectations. In this context, they commended Digitech Innovations for offering meaningful guidance and encouraged the organisation to conduct more such initiatives in the future.
Reflecting on the workshop’s impact, Mr. Nitendra Mohan expressed optimism that the session would leave a lasting impression on students and inspire them to explore emerging technologies more deeply. The questionnair session was also conducted where students were awarded for right answers.
The event was attended by several members of the Digitech Innovations team, including Mr. Utkarsh Varshney, Mr. Saurabh Singh, Ms. Anjali Sharma, Mr. Aman Kumar, Mr. Rajit Kumar, and Mr. Mohd. Bilal, who collectively contributed to the successful execution of the workshop.
The initiative stands as a noteworthy example of industry-academia collaboration, equipping students with both technical knowledge and practical insights essential for navigating the evolving technology landscape.
