On May 28, BLS International announced that it has been assigned by the Delhi State Health Agency to verify beneficiaries for the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Delhi.

This initiative, in partnership with the National Health Authority (NHA), aims to issue AB-PMJAY health cards to around 6.54 lakh families in the state. BLS International will carry out the verification process following the rules set by the NHA and the Delhi government to clear the backlog of pending cards.

Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director of BLS International and Chairman of BLS E-Services, stated, “We are already working with other states like Odisha, where we are distributing AB-PMJAY-GJAY cards to about 3.5 crore people.”

In addition, Delhi’s Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana will offer a free health insurance cover of ₹5 lakh to all senior citizens aged 70 and above. This will help over 6 lakh elderly individuals from around 4.5 lakh families.

Together, the AB-PMJAY and Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana schemes are expected to benefit about 36 lakh people in Delhi, covering more than 6.54 lakh families.

Established in 2005, BLS International provides services in areas such as visas, passports, consular work, citizen and e-governance services, biometric data collection, e-visas, and other retail services.
