The National Ayush Mission (NAM) Conclave 2025 began on May 2 at Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala, Maharashtra, reaffirming the government’s dedication to expanding Ayush Arogya Mandirs in India. Hosted by the Ministry of Ayush, the two-day event gathers Ayush ministers, officials, experts, and stakeholders from various States and UTs to strategize future actions.

Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav inaugurated the conclave alongside ministers from Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Mizoram. The event celebrates the establishment of 12,500 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, marking a leap in healthcare access — with beneficiaries increasing from 1.5 crore in 2021 to over 11.5 crore in 2025.

Ayush Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha highlighted NAM’s growth since 2014, from a ₹78 crore budget to ₹1275 crore in 2025–26. He emphasized the rising trust in Ayush systems, noting awareness levels of 95–96% among Indians.

Ministers from various states praised the Centre’s support, highlighting improvements in healthcare infrastructure and integrated health models combining Ayush with modern medicine. For instance, Uttar Pradesh now operates 3,959 Ayush hospitals with varied capacities, and Himachal Pradesh has developed a digital, women-focused rural outreach model.

Key milestones shared included:

A significant release during the event was the Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) for metabolic disorders like diabetes, obesity, NAFLD, gout, and dyslipidemia, integrating Yoga and dietary protocols.

The session also featured a ministerial roundtable on improving NAM implementation and a Y-Break wellness session, showing the collaborative spirit of the event.
