Sahajanand Medical Technologies has announced the appointment of its CEO and Managing Director, Bhargav Kotadia, as Co-Chair of the FICCI Medical Devices Committee for 2025–26. This is the fourth consecutive year that SMT has held a leadership position within the committee, a rare distinction in India’s Medtech sector.
FICCI’s Medical Devices Committee plays a key role in shaping policy and growth strategies for India’s medical devices industry. Accepting the role, Kotadia thanked FICCI leadership and said the sector is poised for strong growth, with the potential to reach USD 30 billion by 2030, aligning with the government’s vision of making India a global healthcare manufacturing hub.
He added that SMT will continue to actively support the committee’s work through policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement and thought leadership. SMT’s ongoing role within FICCI reflects its focus on innovation-driven manufacturing, regulatory reforms and strengthening India’s Medtech ecosystem.
