LUCKNOW/BAREILLY | After being appointed as the member of the Clinical Establishment Act (CEA) Committee, Senior Intensivist and Ex-President of IMA Bareilly, Dr. Vimal Bhardwaj has attended two important meetings.

Talking to TISHHA News, Dr. Bhardwaj said that in both the meetings his efforts were aimed at creating a bridge that benefits doctors and patients mutually.
The most recent meeting held at Lucknow was presided by the Newly-appointed Principal Secretary of Medical Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education Amit Ghosh. IMA UP was represented by President Dr. P.K. Agarwal. As the member of the CEA Committee, Dr. Vimal Bhardwaj proposed ways of strengthening the bridge between caregivers and patients. Along with other important issues, the CEA Committee focused on the ICU guidelines also.

In an earlier meeting, Dr. Vimal Bhardwaj emphasized on best practices to ensure quality healthcare. The then Principal Secretary of Medical Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma presided the meeting. IMA UP Chapter was represented by not one but three representatives; President Elect Dr. Rajeev Goel (Ghaziabad), Secretary Dr. Ashish Agarwal and Dr. Anand Prakash. The trio raised issues critical to the functioning of hospitals.
