Lt Gen Sadhna S Nair, Director General Medical Services (Army) and Senior Colonel Commandant, inaugurated a new Adult Vaccination Centre and a modern Bronchoscopy Suite at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi, on August 9.
According to the Defence Ministry, the vaccination centre will offer a complete range of immunisation services for eligible adults, including protection against influenza, pneumococcal infections, hepatitis and other preventable diseases.
The state-of-the-art bronchoscopy suite is equipped with cutting-edge technology to perform diverse diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for airway-related conditions.
These new facilities are aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare and enhancing advanced diagnostic services for patients. The inauguration was attended by Lt Gen Shankar Narayana, Commandant; Maj Gen Amul Kapoor, Deputy Commandant; and other senior officers from the hospital and the Directorate.
