Apollo Hospitals has announced plans to expand its healthcare network by adding more than 5,800 beds over the next five years, as the company reported strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Apollo Hospitals recorded consolidated revenue of ₹7,043 crore, marking a 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Consolidated EBITDA rose 28% YoY to ₹1,092 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹581 crore.

As part of its expansion strategy, Apollo will add 148 beds at its existing hospitals in Indore and Guwahati. The group will also establish four new facilities in Indore, Dwarka, the Delhi Proton Centre, and Ranchi, collectively contributing around 1,200 beds to the network.

Apollo’s Healthcare Services division reported revenue of ₹3,567 crore, reflecting a 22% YoY increase. EBITDA for the segment grew 20% to ₹862 crore, while PAT rose 25% to ₹480 crore.

As of June 30, 2026, Apollo Hospitals operated 8,352 beds across its network, excluding Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL) and managed-bed facilities. Occupancy levels improved to 70%, compared with 65% during the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The AHLL segment posted revenue of ₹499 crore, up 15% YoY, with EBITDA increasing to ₹59 crore from ₹40 crore in Q1 FY26. Diagnostic services generated revenue of ₹200 crore, while the Spectra business contributed ₹80 crore. The segment reported a marginal PAT loss of ₹1 crore, significantly lower than the ₹8 crore loss recorded in the same period last year.

Apollo HealthCo, the group’s omnichannel pharmacy and digital healthcare business, recorded revenue of ₹2,977 crore, representing 20% YoY growth. EBITDA nearly doubled to ₹171 crore from ₹94 crore in Q1 FY26, while PAT increased to ₹101 crore from ₹57 crore.

The company also continued expanding its pharmacy footprint, adding 151 net new stores during the quarter and taking its total pharmacy network to 7,440 outlets.

Commenting on the results, Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Founder and Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group, said that the growing burden of non-communicable diseases and the increasing demand for specialised care require a healthcare model that integrates prevention, early diagnosis, advanced treatment, and long-term care. He noted that Apollo’s integrated healthcare ecosystem is well-positioned to address these evolving needs while continuing to earn the trust of patients and their families.

He added that Apollo commissioned its Sarjapur hospital in Bengaluru during Q1 FY27 and remains committed to expanding access to advanced healthcare services through its planned addition of over 5,800 beds in the coming five years.
