Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on August 04 inaugurated the new building of Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, New Delhi, marking a significant step in the hospital’s ongoing expansion and its 25-year journey of public service.

The newly inaugurated facility is expected to enhance the hospital’s advanced healthcare infrastructure, increase treatment capacity and support the delivery of specialised medical and diagnostic services to patients.

Speaking at the inauguration, Shah highlighted the hospital chain’s contribution to providing free and advanced medical care to people. He said that around 3.60 lakh people received advanced medical services worth approximately ₹244 crore free of cost during the previous year.

Shah said the expansion would help the hospital further strengthen its public-service initiatives and enable more people to access advanced healthcare facilities.

The new building is expected to particularly benefit patients requiring specialised and advanced medical care while supporting the hospital’s efforts to expand its services and reach a wider section of society.
