Ambuja Neotia is set to significantly expand its healthcare footprint in Eastern India, with Parthiv Neotia planning an investment of around ₹2,200 crore to develop approximately 1,800 additional beds over the next four to five years.
The expansion will be undertaken through eight upcoming healthcare facilities, taking the group’s total healthcare capacity from about 700 beds to nearly 2,500 beds once the planned projects become operational.
Multispeciality and Mother-Child Care to Drive Expansion
Around 60% of the planned new capacity is expected to come through multispeciality hospitals, while the remaining beds will focus primarily on mother and child healthcare. The planned network will therefore cover both broad-based hospital services and specialised women’s and paediatric care.
Asset-Light Models Also Under Consideration
Alongside developing new hospital assets, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture is also evaluating asset-light models for selected projects. This approach could allow the group to expand its presence across multiple locations while using different models for developing and operating healthcare facilities.
With eight facilities planned across Eastern India, the expansion represents a substantial increase in Ambuja Neotia’s healthcare capacity and is expected to broaden its hospital network across multispeciality, women’s and children’s healthcare.
