The Chief Minister also highlighted the proposed development of a 200-acre Medicity in Nava Raipur, aimed at expanding super-speciality healthcare facilities, attracting medical investment and promoting medical tourism.

According to Sai, the project is expected to create employment opportunities for healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, technicians and paramedical staff, while supporting Chhattisgarh’s development as a healthcare destination in Central India.

He further emphasised the role of public and private healthcare institutions in improving medical services across the state, particularly in rural and tribal regions.

Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLA Motilal Sahu, and representatives of Prathamesh Hospital, including Dr. Rajiv Sahu and Dr. Sarika Sahu, attended the inauguration ceremony.

The opening of Prathamesh Hospital comes amid the state’s broader efforts to expand healthcare infrastructure and increase the availability of specialised treatment within Chhattisgarh.
