Agilus Diagnostics has announced the appointment of Vijender Singh as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Dr Anand K, who has stepped down after nearly six years with the company to explore new professional opportunities. The company acknowledged Dr Anand K’s contributions during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavours.
Singh brings more than 30 years of experience across the diagnostics, healthcare, consumer healthcare and FMCG industries. His expertise includes business expansion, operational efficiency, corporate governance and building high-performance organisations.
Before joining Agilus Diagnostics, Singh served as Chairman and Managing Director of Diagnum Healthcare, where he led strategic growth initiatives and governance practices. Over the course of his career, he has also held senior leadership roles as Group CEO of Metropolis Healthcare, CEO of Healthians, and spent nearly ten years at Dr. Lal PathLabs, contributing significantly to the company’s growth. In addition, he has worked as an Operating Partner at Jashvik Capital and held leadership positions at Ranbaxy Consumer Healthcare, Bausch & Lomb and Blow Plast.
Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director & CEO of Fortis Healthcare and Chairman of Agilus Diagnostics, said Singh’s extensive experience in the diagnostics sector and his strong track record in business transformation make him well suited to lead the company through its next phase of growth.
