Global Health, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, reported a 34 per cent year-on-year decline in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 2025. The company posted a profit after tax of Rs 95 crore, compared with Rs 143 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations, however, rose to Rs 1,121 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 943 crore in the same period a year earlier, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The decline in profitability was attributed to depreciation and finance costs related to the Noida hospital, along with initial operating losses at the facility. The post-tax profit was further impacted by the one-time statutory effect of the new Labour Codes, classified as exceptional items amounting to Rs 37 crore in the third quarter of FY26.

Shares of Global Health ended 0.67 per cent higher at Rs 1,121.45 apiece on the BSE.
